The Minister of Communication and Information, Johnny G. Plate said, the presence of a reliable internet is an important requirement in organizing a series of G20 events, especially for the presidential event which will take place in November.
“We have built various facilities and infrastructure, but if there is no good internet, of course the G20 cannot run well. We are preparing the backbone network _broadband._ _Redundancy_, we are preparing the backbone network _fiber optic_ as well as satellite and radio links for ICT infrastructure All telecommunications and fiber optic operators are alerted,” said Johny.
President Director of PLN, Darmawan Prasodjo said, PLN’s broadband internet service is a form of business diversification to face the challenges of the times and meet customer needs. This internet service business is carried out by maximizing the assets that PLN currently has.
“We want to show that the IT network business, especially PLN’s broadband internet is ready to provide the best service. The reliability of IT services is expected to guarantee security and comfort to all delegate guests,” said Darmawan.
The President Director of ICON+, Yuddy Setyo Wicaksono, stated that of the 3 series of ETWG activities, namely in Yogyakarta on 24-25 March 2022, in Labuan Bajo 23-24 June 2022, and Bali 31 August – 1 September 2022, and the ETMM event on 2 September 2022, ICON+ prepares internet needs at the event location.
“We are grateful to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources for entrusting us to fulfill their internet service needs. And we are grateful, we can fulfill all these needs properly,” explained Yuddy.
